Father John Higgins, pastor of St. Raymond parish in Downey, posted a five-minute homily on the Feast of St. Joseph (March 19). He starts with “This is the weirdest St. Joseph’s I’ve ever seen. My St. Joseph’s table this morning was a granola bar and a glass of iced tea.”

Here is a 15-second excerpt of the homily:

“Jesus Himself, present in my own life, is very important to me right now. It’s very important for me to act as a priest even when I can’t do so because public Masses are canceled.”
