LGBTQ in Business and Economics

A new set of courses at the University of San Diego

The following came in an Oct. 31 email from Chuck LiMandri, president of the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund.

Dear Fellow Faithful Catholics:

Unfortunately, this is not a Halloween trick or treat.  Below is the announcement of four upper-division LGBTQ course offerings at USD. Please keep in mind that according to the latest statistics from the National Institute of Health, homosexuals represent only 1.6% of the total U.S. population and bisexuals represent only .7%.  Recent U.S. census statistics also indicate that transgenders represent less than one-quarter of one percent of the population.

Yet, look how much of its resources that USD presently dedicates to this small but powerful special interest group.  As you undoubtedly know, militant gay activists are aggressively attacking the reputations and livelihoods of devout Catholics and other people of faith in numerous cases around the country.

In the precedent setting JONAH case alone, in which we are fighting an army of some fifteen gay activist attorneys, and which is set for trial in New Jersey on April 13, 2015, we have already attended some 40 depositions in over a dozen states.

The goal of the opposition is to use state consumer fraud laws to force numerous religious nonprofits to change their view of the disordered nature of homosexual behavior or be forced out of business by heavy fines. While USD is working hard to further empower this special interest group, it has become by far the most serious threat to the religious liberty of us and our children and grandchildren.

Therefore, let’s pray that USD finds a good Catholic president to replace Mary Lyons next year. In the meantime, Trent Horn of Catholic Answers and I will be speaking to the four combined LGBTQ classes at USD in March on the Catholic view of human sexuality.  Please also pray that the Holy Spirit inspires us to help change minds and hearts as they learn, perhaps for the first time, of the truth, goodness and beauty of the teachings of our Church.

Admiral / Doctor / Syster Mary Lyons is None of the Above, although she has acted affirmatively to provide a Drag portrayal of such roles.

When appointed as President of the California Maritime Academy she became an ‘Admiral’ – although her knowledge of the Merchant Marine is on par with her support for the Catholic Church she leeches off of and whose Nuns she delights in Trashing for fun & Profit. Another Pro-Homosexual “Drag Show” at Catholic USD: Vatican Calls it a ‘Scandal’
    By Matthew Miller 4/3/04
The Catholic University of San Diego is hosting its third pro-homosexual “drag show” on April 10 at Shiley Theatre. The offensive event is called PRIDE’s Celebration of Gender Expression: Supreme Drag Superstar III.

Vatican letter calls it a “scandal”

According to recent reports, the Vatican Congregation for Education sent a letter to concerned lay Catholics in San Diego, California, who filed a canonical petition with Church authorities in Rome, asking for an intervention.

The letter was received by Catholic attorney, Charles LiMandri, alumni and past President of the USD Alumni Association and Thomas McKenna, head of Catholic Action for Faith and Family.

The Vatican letter states: “In view of the gravity of the case, it is worth mentioning that in light of the show and the scandal that it caused, this congregation intends to act through administrative channels to the competent ecclesiastical authority in San Diego.”

  3. MIchael McDermott says

The Santorum machine, like the spineless RINO$ of the ‘Church of Nice’ is actually cooperating with Evil – at the least by refusing to get their hands of skirts dirty in exposing it.

People get the government they deserve – and if ‘Nice’ people find it it is too ‘icky’ to expose the Down Low Soetoro scam – then I suppose we all deserve whatever we getL
Obama Likely Won Re-Election Through Election Fraud

There were many factors that hurt Mitt Romney and favored Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election. The Democrats portrayed Romney in the worst light possible; as a wealthy, out of touch millionaire who wanted to return women to the 1800’s. The left wing media predictably did everything it could to perpetuate that false caricature.

Obama’s race was an advantage; voters of all persuasions, particularly minorities, still cannot get over the allure of the first black president. The 47% of Americans on welfare were predisposed to vote for the food stamp president over Romney, wanting the free goodies to keep on giving, despite the long-term unsustainability.

So how did Romney lose a race that numerous reputable polls and pundits predicted would be an easy win, based on historical patterns? The most realistic explanation is voter fraud in a few swing states.

  4. So “the Vatican calls it a scandal,” that’s nice. Has the Vatican done anything at all to stop this evil university from calling itself a Catholic University? Has Pope Francis condemned the promotion of perversion at so-called Catholic universities? Or shouldn’t we “judge” these institutions? Have Bishop Emeritus Brom or the late Bishop Cirillo done anything to stop the University of San Diego from calling itself a Catholic University? This school is actively promoting homosexuality, bisexuality, transgenderism and who knows what other evils. Does it promote Catholicism? No! God bless Chuck LiMandri and those working with him. Why isn’t the Church doing anything to stop this evil organization?

    • I’ll bet at least one reason for all the bishops’ lack of reaction now is that most of the universities/colleges that are CINO are Jesuit, therefore, “Who are we to judge?” There are only so many places where you can create inane courses and receive made up degrees for subjects that have no purpose or value, too. The bishops, for the most part, probably graduated from these same schools and entered seminary where the instructors graduated from these same schools, too.
The cycle of buffoonery goes round and round.

    • St. Christopher says

“Sarah” is correct: Time to get up and fight. Stop giving money to these bums. Donate to groups that fight them, or, better yet, fight them yourselves.

Failure to fight means that the Queer Nation will find ways to use civil law pressures to attack any kind of religious or “conscience” non-profit that fails to do whatever the Homofascists want.

Oh yes, and send copies to the Vatican, to the local bishops and to Cardinal Burke (one of the very few men that actually are such in this feminized Church).

      • Does anyone remember “sit-ins”? Rather than complaining via letters and on line what would be most effective is a mob of faithful Catholics crowding out these events. It’s past time for some physical presence of real people willing to risk consequences for what they believe. There are a lot of you within driving distance of SanDiego. Why not pay this creepy woman a visit ?

  5. John Feeney says

More proof that Pope Paul VI was right when he said;. The “smoke of Satan has entered the Church”.

“Lesbian Extremist Mayor Must Go — Now
…These gross abuses of power have shocked and outraged millions of Americans across the country on every point of the political spectrum. Attorney, best-selling author and columnist David Limbaugh distilled nicely the controversy in an Oct. 16 column titled, “Fascist leftists in Houston”:

“There are at least three outrageous things about the Houston city government’s recent actions pushing an ordinance to allow men and women to use each other’s public restrooms,” began Limbaugh.
“The first is the substance of the ordinance itself, which allows men and women, irrespective of their biology, to use bathrooms designated for the opposite sex…

“The second outrage is that the city has greatly overreached in subpoenaing the pastors of the city for copies of their sermons and their communications to their congregations to determine whether they have violated this Godforsaken ordinance. Lest you think this was a mistake, the mayor tweeted, ‘If the 5 pastors used pulpits for politics, their sermons are fair game.’”

“The third outrage is the city’s lawless disqualification and rejection of valid petitions filed by voters to challenge the law. Voters submitted more than three times the legally required number… But the mayor and city attorney outright rejected the petition anyway, on the specious grounds that the petition signatures weren’t valid.”

This, my friends, is nothing short of fascism – lawlessness. It’s unabashed political corruption, out front and in your face. Forget Parker’s brazen attack on religious liberty and her twisted dudes-in-the-ladies’-shower ordinance. This disgusting abuse of power alone demands she be booted out the door posthaste.–now-n1913106?
