Before the Mass

The U.S. Rosary Coast to Coast movement is
asking Catholics to join together and pray
the rosary on October 7 “…in parish
Churches; in front of state capitols; along
the US coasts and borders.”
“We are being called upon to help turn our
country back towards God. We must
acknowledge as a people that we have
turned away from God; we’ve allowed the
kingdom of Satan to assault us, we must
confess our errors, turn away from the
darkness, and repair what we as a Church
and as a nation, have wrought.”

San Diego – Votive Mass of St. Philip Neri @ St. Anne Catholic Church
Oct 22 @ 7:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Monday, October 22: Votive Mass. of St. Philip Neri

Monday, October 22, 19:30 (7:30 P.M.)

Sung Votive Mass of St. Philip Neri

in the Traditional Roman Rite

Celebrant: Rev. Fr. John Lyons, F.S.S.P.

St. Anne Catholic Church

621 Sicard St. San Diego, CA 92113-2396

Because in the traditional Roman calendar May 26 was this year an Ember Day of Pentecost, we could not celebrate the feast day of our holy patron, St. Philip Neri. Therefore we honor him belatedly with a votive sung Mass. We are very grateful to Fr. Lyons, the pastor, for offering the Sacrifice on our behalf and also for granting us the use of St. Anne Catholic Church. The brothers will serve and sing the chants of the Mass. Please join us.
