Start Time: 9:30am
End Time: 10:30am

The Walk for Life West Coast now in its 15th year, draws some 50,000 participants annually to San Francisco. Archbishop Cordileone will celebrate the Mass for Life prior to the Walk. Since 2005, the mission of the Walk for Life West Coast has been to change the perceptions of a society that thinks abortion is an answer. Abortion harms women and men. It divides families and society. Women–and all people–deserve better than abortion. We strive to shed light on all issues of life, but particularly to change hearts hurt by the violence of abortion. Life is the best and only good choice.

On Saturday February 2, we invite you to St. Charles Borromeo in Imperial Beach to the Traditional Latin Mass sung in honor of the purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. According to Mosaic Law, she had to wait 40 days after giving birth before bringing a sacrifice to the temple. She complied in the presence of Simeon the Just and the prophetess Anna. On that day, as the Child Jesus is recognized as the Light of the World, candles are blessed and distributed to the faithful. A procession follows and then Holy Mass.
