St. Joseph Academy is an independent, classical, Catholic TK-12 school that teaches in accordance with the Magisterium. We are seeking a high school and middle school Algebra I & 2 and elementary Latin teacher beginning January 6th, 2021. Candidates must be loyal, practicing Catholics who are motivated, organized and possess a deep love for God, others and a passion for communicating that love. A genuine affection and love and talent for teaching rounds out the ideal candidate. Undergraduate degree required, Masters preferred.
Training and support is provided. Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
St. Joseph Academy is recognized by the Cardinal Newman Society as a School of Excellence and is currently one of three schools in the nation to be a Cardinal Newman Society Ambassador School. We are a member of NAPCIS (The National Association of Private Catholic and Independent Schools) and ICLE (Institution for Catholic Liberal Education). Our current enrollment is 303 students (78 are high school students). We are located in beautiful San Diego County, just 15 minutes from the ocean.
