Patron Services in Calvary, Los Angeles


Manages and is responsible for patron service account activities, CCMS Training programs, and contract/payment processing operations for all cemeteries, for both the Family Services Program and Family Counseling Program. Directly supervises staff of 6-8 persons.


Because all Archdiocesan employees represent the Roman Catholic Church, they are expected to conduct themselves according to the goals and mission of the Church in performing their work.

Monitors patron service functions concerning inquiries, problems and research as performed by support staff.
Coordinates with our outside collection service contractor to address patron issues and procedure modifications
Formulates, implements schedules and directs formal ongoing training programs for CCMS end users.
Directs contract processing procedures performed by staff to very new sales information and input into the computer.
Supervises payment processing activity involving data entry and bank deposit reconciliation.
Monitors and oversees the Tellus reconciliation process, approves lock box transfer transactions as performed by the Finance Coordinator.
Meets with bank officials as required for cash processing system planning and improvements, and in problem solving.
Coordinates cemetery system wide processing scheduled for updates and month-end activities.
Responsible for interim and month-end report reconciliation/distribution and monthly patron statement mailings.
Designs and oversees the composition of processing forms, e.g. patron statements, cash receipts, batch processing schedules, etc.
Investigates, appraises, and recommends any major systems processing application/revision, e.g. electronic data extracts to our service providers, including TFI, NRC, and Bank Cal.
