Facilities & Admin Assistant – El Centro, Imperial Valley
The Facilities & Admin Assistant – El Centro is responsible for maintenance and cleaning of all Catholic Charities facilities, vehicles, and equipment in Imperial County, and assist the agency with any programmatic needs in Imperial County. Serves as the worker in the duties of care, upkeep, and cleaning of assigned tasks and related maintenance duties, and other programmatic duties assigned as needed.
This position is in El Centro, Imperial Valley, CA.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. CUSTODIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweep sidewalks and parking lot.
Dust mop and wet mop vinyl surfaces.
Wipe down chairs and benches in front of building.
Clean entrance windows.
Water/feed/weed outside planted areas.
Straighten chairs/tables in conference room as needed.
Wipe down coffee counter in lunchroom daily and as needed.
Lunch area, clean microwave ovens inside and out and wipe down cabinets.
Dust and clean front reception areas copy machine area and main stair handrails.
Dust and clean offices.
Clean/sanitize floors, toilets and sinks in restrooms.
Keep management apprised of safety concerns and equipment that needs to be repaired.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
2. MAINTENANCE ASSISTANCE OF ALL AGENCY FACILITIES, VEHICLES & EQUIPMENT
As directed by Facilities Manager and under the supervision of Director of Outreach – Imperial County, assists with maintenance duties.
On-call for urgent maintenance and repairs during business hours.
Assigned work requests and maintains a log of work completed and progress-to-date.
Keeps supervisor apprised of any issues, problems or complaints so prompt investigation and resolution can occur.
3. PROGRAM ASSISTANCE
Attend to phone calls and voicemails whenever needed
Attend to reception area whenever needed
Drive agency vehicles to transport goods and items as needed.
Other assignments as assigned by supervisor and as needed.
