P/T Teacher - Catholic Charities of Stockton
Catholic Charities Immigration Legal Services Program has an opening for an evening part-time, teaching assignment to help prepare Lawful Permanent Residents for the Naturalization Exam and to advance their integration into the United States. We anticipate the two 3-hour evening classes per week (Monday and Wednesday) and preparation to not exceed 8 hours per week per instructor.
The successful candidate would have a valid California Teacher’s Certificate in English as a Second Language (ESL) and experience in teaching English Language Learners (ELL). Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.
Instructors will teach students, administer proficiency tests, work with classroom volunteers and comply with funding regulations regarding student records, reports and services.
