Additional observations St. Anthony’s is a historic parish on the coast in Northern California. It is part of the diocese of Santa Rosa. The parish was established in 1852; the current white wooden church was built in the 1930s. A fire destroyed a significant portion of the church in 1999, but it has since been reconstructed. The church serves only a few hundred local residents, so it welcomes weddings and other outside visitors to help fund the parish. It’s a quaint little chapel; you’ll enjoy its stained glass windows and other art. Behind the altar is a large ocean mural. On the outside of the church is a wooden statue of a woman and child looking out to the ocean; it’s a memorial to two fishermen lost at sea.Buffer
