  1. Seminarian William Tūlua says:

It saddens me to see hear about the abortions yet even upset that the pro-choice people would want to block the babies from being buried in consecrated ground. Will they not stop with such foolishness? I pray for them that their hearts will be changed and fear their time of judgement before Our Lord, the high priest and supreme judge of us all.

  2. Placing the bodies of the unwanted babies in a mass grave is reminiscent of the manner that the Nazis dumped the bodies of the Jews and other “undesirables” they murdered in the death camps. The Nazis referred to this as the final solution to the Jewish problem. The world condemned the Nazis for this, but now it seems to be acceptable in most countries to kill babies, if they are inconvenient. It is unfortunate that these photos were not published, in color, in major newspapers and news magazines, as well as the names of those who didn’t want the babies to have a funeral or decent burial. If those people thought what they did was right, then they shouldn’t object to the publicity.

  3. We can all lament these incidents, there is plenty of pain and anguish to go around. What I object to most is the silence that these events generated after all the hoopla was over. Will we all continue to be silent when these things, and other things, continue to go on and on? And for what? Because we may all appear intolerant of others who make those decisions to destroy children in the womb? We can all say: “NO” to such a silence. We can all speak about it, never let anyone forget where we stand, and never move from that place where children are precious and a wonder of God. Can anyone remain silent after knowing about this? If we do, we are just as culpable as those who let this happen. Speak up, stand your ground. I am confronted with this every day. I rely on the Holy Spirit to give me the right words, and He has never failed me. Make sense to people who think you are insane and they shut their dumfounded mouths. It is Reasonable to object to murder. Object all you want. We can still do that, so take advantage of it. When THAT right is taken from us, you will still be able to speak, and let others know that you were not silent, when others insisted that you be silent. Never give up the fight. It is better to die standing for something than to live believing in nothing.
