|Dear Pro-life friends,
Mark your calendars for the 12th annual Pro-Life Stations of the Cross in Downtown San Diego. Good Friday, April 14th. Please arrive by 11:45 am at the sidewalk on the east side of St. Joseph’s Cathedral, at 4th and Beech (Note: we do not meet inside the church). We leave at 12:00 pm sharp, processing west on Beech Street to Front Street, then down Front Street to the old federal building at Front and Broadway where we pray the Stations of the Cross. We process back to St. Joseph’s, arriving at about 1:00 to 1:15.
This is the largest, public Stations of the Cross prayed on the streets of San Diego, where a world that has forgotten the sacrifice of Jesus, needs to be awakened. Join hundreds in bringing the pro-life message, the message of Jesus to the streets.
Excerpts from The Ninth Station: Jesus Fall the Third Time
“For the third time Jesus falls beneath the cross, drenching the earth with His Precious Blood. How often have our souls received the Sacred Blood of His Divine Life in the Holy Mass, Holy Communion, Penance and prayers, and what little fruit has it produced because of our insincerity.
Despite the falls, nothing can stop our Lord, because He is on a mission of love. If the pro-life movement is not a movement of love, it is nothing at all, but if it is a movement of love, then nothing will stop it. Love is stronger than death, more powerful than hell.”
