San Diego – The Salon with Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse
Jan 23 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Hi all! This is a quick reminder about The Salon with Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse. The next Salon is this Friday. See below for details.

What:

This is a bi-weekly event called, The Salon with Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse. She is presenting her forthcoming book, tentatively titled:

The Sexual State

How the Sexual Revolutionaries Have Taken Control the State

And why we’ve got to take it back

She’ll be presenting portions of this book over several Friday evenings early in 2015. You will be the first to learn Dr. Morse’s groundbreaking thesis, before the book is published. Dr. Morse will be taking questions, and we anticipate some lively dialog at these gatherings. Your feedback might be included in the published book. We will be providing hot hors d’oeuvres, adult beverages, coffee, etc. so come hungry!

When:

Friday evenings: January 23, February 6, February 20, March 13, March 27

Arrive by 6:30PM for hot hors d’oeuvres and beverages. Dr. Morse begins her talk at 7PM and we finish promptly at 8:30PM.

Where:

This exclusive gathering will take place in a private residence in north San Diego county.

How:

Please contact Jennifer Johnson at the Ruth Institute with questions, to RSVP, and to receive the address and parking/driving instructions: jjohnson@ruthinstitute.org

Frequently Asked Questions:

“May we invite our friends? May we forward this invitation to them?” YES, but they must RSVP. We need an accurate head-count so that we know how much food to prepare, how many Salon binders to prepare, and how many chairs to set up.

“Should I bring note paper and a pen?” That is not necessary. Each participant will receive a Salon binder with Salon information and plenty of paper for note taking. We will also have extra pens in case you forget yours.

“How much food will there be?” Come hungry! We will have plenty of hors d’oeuvres, bottled water, and adult beverages.

“Is there any ‘suggested reading’ material that I can buy?” Yes. We recommend Dr. Morse’s books Love and Economics and Smart Sex. Both will be available at the event. You can also order them from our online store at these links:

“What is the format?” Dr. Morse is presenting chapters of her forthcoming book, tentatively titled, “The Sexual State.” Then we will have a Q&A session. The Q&A session at our first Salon (January 9) was quite lively!
