Sacramento – The Great Marian Procession of the West Coast @ East Lawn Cemetery
May 12 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

THE DATE: May 12th, 2018

Come join us at the 10th Anniversary of the Great Marian Procession.

8:00 am — folks gather at East Lawn Cemetery; 4300 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento
9:00 am – Procession begins
10:30 am – arrive at State Capitol
11:00 am – At the West Steps of the Capitol :: Mary is crowned and crowds pray for the Consecration of the State of California, led by Father John Lyons, F.S.S.P.

The annual three-and-a-half-mile procession will culminate with the consecration of the State of California to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, on the west steps of the State Capitol; with Fr. John Lyons of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter leading the crowds in a special entrustment of the state of California to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Marchers will be praying for the state’s conversion, especially for a “return to pro-life values” and a recognition of marriage “as between one man and one woman.”

Now in its tenth year, the march has grown into the largest annual Marian procession west of the Mississippi River.

Attendance has been growing each year from a few hundred in the beginning to about 1,500 people in 2017.
